For younger readers, this is apparently a play on President Nixon's 1972 reelection slogan, "Now More Than Ever". It was a follow-up to "Nixon's the One!", his 1968 slogan. The Watergate scandal gave a second meaning to both catchphrases. https://t.co/klZDsIkQp5

Watching @JoeBiden launch his third White House campaign in Philly. This is a classic frontrunner’s speech. Which makes sense because he is, at least for now, the clear frontrunner. Singing Kumbaya for Democrats. Focuses squarely on Trump. General election mode.

@gerrycanavan I get it. But Trump spent the 2016 campaign delegitimizing the election if he lost. Then post-election claimed voter fraud accounted for his 3 million vote deficit. He 'joked' to a GOP dinner in March that he liked the new change in China--Xi was made president for life. Etc.

Larry Sabato

@gerrycanavan One (and only one) goal of this survey was to determine the proportion of Trump supporters who would support a drastic action by Trump, one that has already been suggested by a key supporter. See other question about refusing to step down after losing.

@john_staver I understand & sympathize. But having read a million polls in my day, I think we could get at least 7% of the public to agree with almost any proposition. (A different 7% each time, maybe.) They may or may not have meant it. It's cost-free to lash out in a poll. It's anonymous.

Gov. Steve Bullock (D-MT), number 22 D candidate for POTUS, is a rare bird—elected GOV & AG repeatedly in a deeply Red Trump State. An unlikely D nominee, since positions on issues such as guns that help in MT won’t appeal to Blue State Dems (where the delegate votes are).
